Addressing Resin Leakage Concerns: Hoopat’s Response

hoopat

To our valued Hoopat users,

We have recently received reports from a few customers experiencing resin leakage when using the Hoopat quick-release resin vat. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

After carefully investigating these cases and communicating directly with affected users, we found that the issue stems from improper installation—particularly incorrect orientation of the film and failure to remove the protective layer before use.

To address this immediately, we have:

● Updated the user manual with clearer visual and written instructions.

● Added a warning insert to every vat package highlighting common installation mistakes.

● Published a detailed step-by-step guide and troubleshooting video on our Hoopat website.

In parallel, our R&D team has re-validated the durability of the Hoopat quick-release resin vat under simulated printing conditions. The film remained fully functional after 70,000+ layer testing cycles. (For reference, ELEGOO recommends replacing the film after 60,000 cycles.) This confirms the reliability of the film when installed correctly.

Additionally, one of our users has successfully printed over 100,000 layers with the same setup.
