1.  Rigorous Testing Before Product Launch

Before Chitu Systems Hoopat was released to the market, it underwent systematic testing covering multiple aspects. The tests included structural testing, durability testing, high and low temperature testing, temperature rise testing, corrosion testing, fire resistance testing, scenario printing tests, and human-machine interaction optimization tests.

Below is a summary of the key results:

1.1.  Structural Testing

Tests covered appearance design, part deformation, dimensional accuracy, release film thickness and tension, sealing, UV transmittance, and more.

● The vat handle structure is solid, edges are rounded, and the bottom positioning pads are firmly attached and do not fall off;

● The vat fits well with the printer, with no interference or light leakage during operation;

● When filled to the water level mark and left for 3 days, no leakage was observed;

● Release film tension is good: 113.5% of the original vat’s tension before printing, and 89.7% after 90,000 layers of printing;

 

● UV transmittance is above 93%, and the printing process produces no significant noise.

1.2.  Durability Testing

Durability tests were conducted on the tightening handle, heating wire, and PIN contacts:

● Handles could be repeatedly tightened 200 times without wear or sticking;

● After continuous printing of 60,000 layers, the release film remained intact, printed models were complete, and the vat did not leak;

● Heating wire functioned normally after 168 hours of continuous operation; PIN contacts worked normally after 2,500 repeated connections and disconnections.

1.3.  Scenario Printing Tests

Various printing scenarios were tested using full-screen cube and hollow cube models:

● The release film operated smoothly and quietly during printing;

● Models were printed completely with smooth layer lines in the Z-direction.

These tests confirmed that Chitu Systems Hoopat meets the design standards for structural reliability, printing stability, and service life.

2.  Real-World Usage Data and User Feedback

Since the product launch, Most users have given positive feedback regarding printing experience and product stability.

According to major sales platforms:

3.  Identified Issues and Improvement Directions

 

3.1.  Printing Efficiency and Parameter Adjustments

For certain special models, our testing team indicates that, in theory, there should be no need to readjust printing parameters. Reports of this issue have been extremely rare.

We have now received the problematic units, and our team is actively investigating them. In addition, we will first conduct comparative tests on several commonly used models to determine whether any parameter adjustments are necessary. A demonstration video will be released soon to share the results with users.

3.2.  Resin Leakage

To date, the overall leakage rate is approximately 0.13% , significantly below industry average.

Main causes include:

● Release film installed incorrectly or protective film not removed;

● Very rare quality issues in early batches.

We have taken the following measures:

● Added installation direction and protective film removal labels on packaging;

● Optimized assembly and quality inspection processes to increase pre-shipment checks;

● Provided free replacement or return support for users reporting leakage.

3.3.  Surface Paint Peeling

This issue was mainly found in the first batch (around 100 units).
Later batches saw the issue occur with much lower probability, and the latest production uses a new powder coating process that significantly improves durability and corrosion resistance.

However, paint adhesion may still vary slightly depending on resin types and alcohol concentrations used during cleaning.
Our testing conditions are limited to a certain range of resins and solvents, and we continue to test under broader use scenarios to further reduce the chance of paint peeling.

3.4.  Release Film Cost

Multiple types of release films are supported, including FEP, PFA, and ACF.

We recommend purchasing in 5-piece packs to reduce shipping costs. We are also actively working with logistics partners to further lower shipping fees and will introduce more cost-effective film bundles in the future.
