A: Hoopat is available for a range of ELEGOO Saturn and Anycubic Photon Mono resin 3D printers. Choose the version that matches your printer:

A: Hoopat is designed to make routine resin printing maintenance faster and easier.Its quick-release system allows compatible pre-cut release films to be replaced in about 30 seconds, without repeatedly removing a large number of screws or manually adjusting film tension.It also features an integrated pouring spout, consistent film tension, and a durable full-metal construction.

A: Both PFA and ACF release films are available for compatible Hoopat resin vats.PFA is a good general-purpose option and is commonly used on newer ELEGOO Saturn models. ACF is designed for high-speed resin printing and is used on models such as the Saturn 3 Ultra. For the best results, we recommend choosing the same film type originally specified for your printer unless you have a specific reason to change it.

A: Yes. Compatible third-party FEP, PFA/nFEP, or ACF sheets can be used with Hoopat.However, standard third-party sheets are usually not pre-punched, so you will need to create the alignment holes yourself.For the quickest installation, Hoopat pre-cut release films are pre-sized and pre-punched, with no trimming required.

A: Yes. The new Hoopat release film with the seal ring can be used with older compatible Hoopat resin vats.However, for an upgraded Hoopat vat designed around the seal-ring configuration, we recommend using the corresponding new release film for the best fit and sealing performance.

A: Check the following before printing:

- Make sure all protective layers have been removed from the release film.
- Check that the film and seal ring are seated flat.
- Make sure there is no cured resin or debris around the sealing surface.
- Engage the quick-release clips evenly.Inspect the film for punctures, stretched holes, or edge damage.

We recommend performing a leak check before placing the vat back on the printer.

A: First, make sure the vat is fully seated and the release film is installed correctly. Then check your printer's build-plate setup and bottom exposure settings. If you changed from PFA to ACF, or from ACF to PFA, your existing print settings may also need adjustment. If possible, start with a previously proven resin profile and change one setting at a time.

A: For ACF film, the matte or frosted side should face downward toward the LCD screen, while the smoother side faces the resin.Installing ACF film in the wrong direction may affect release performance and lead to failed prints.

A: Yes. The Hoopat X4H is designed specifically for the ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and supports its resin-heating system. Make sure the vat is installed in the correct orientation so the heating contacts are properly aligned.

A: First, make sure the X4H is fully seated and correctly aligned.Check the pogo-pin contact area for resin, dust, or debris, and make sure the contacts are clean. Then reinstall the vat and restart the printer. 
The X4H pogo-pin assembly uses an upgraded spring-loaded design to improve contact reliability during normal use.
