Chitu Systems FilaPartner E1 Filament Dryer User Guide

Applicable to Chitu Systems FilaPartner E1 Dual-Chamber Filament Dryer

01|Humidity Card and Desiccant Pack Usage and Placement

Installing the Humidity Indicator Card

Open the chamber and insert the humidity card into the slot at the lower-left corner. The card shows three humidity levels: 30%, 40%, and 50%. When the corresponding circle changes from brown to teal, it indicates the current humidity has reached or exceeded that level.

Placing the Desiccant Pack

Open the chamber and remove the upper cover. Place the desiccant pack into the preset groove inside the upper cover. For non-heated storage, you can also place the desiccant pack into the bottom air outlet groove and then cover it with the magnetic panel to further enhance moisture protection.

Reusable Remind

Both the humidity card and desiccant pack are reusable and can be dried together with the filament during the drying.

02|Filament Storage and Daily Use

Modular Dual-Chamber Design

The chambers can be stacked vertically or used separately, adapting to different desktop layouts. Anti-slip pads at the bottom ensure stability when stacked.

Sealed Use in Storage

When heating is off, the unit serves as a sealed moisture-proof storage box. Each chamber’s bottom has a magnetic panel, which by default covers the air outlet to enhance sealing. During heating, the magnetic panel can be stored in a dedicated slot at the bottom to avoid obstructing airflow.

03|Touchscreen Control and Parameter Settings

Checking Chamber Status

Tap the 1 or 2 to view the current temperature, humidity, and remaining time of the corresponding chamber.

Setting Drying Parameters

In Batch Setting, set the drying temperature and time for each chamber individually. You can save up to 4 custom presets for easy recall with different materials.

Recommended Settings Reference

Tap Recommendation and select the filament material type (e.g., PLA, TPU, ABS, PA), and the system will display recommended temperature and duration.

04|Starting Drying and Printing Connection

Filament Output Operation

Before drying, pull the filament out through the required outlet hole and connect it to the printer’s PTFE tube or feeding port. Each chamber has 4 outlet holes, for a total of 8 outlets, suitable for different printing positions.

Start Drying

After setting parameters, tap to start. The system will begin heating and drying the filament. It can be used together with multi-channel feeding systems like AMS-lite for continuous multi-material printing.

05|Intelligent Mode Description

Automatic Drying Mode

When enabled, the system automatically monitors chamber humidity: it starts drying when humidity is above 50% and stops when it falls below 25%, allowing for unattended operation around the clock.

Silent Mode

When enabled, the fan speed is reduced to lower noise, with about a 30% decrease in heating efficiency. If the system detects that humidity has reached the target level, it will automatically switch to silent mode until drying is complete.

Auto-Detection Function

With intelligent mode on, before heating, the system automatically detects whether the chamber is properly installed. If the chamber is not correctly sealed or locked, heating will stop to prevent misuse or energy waste.
